Join this fun half-day trip from Zadar to explore three amazing islands: Ošljak, Ugljan, and Galevac. Travel in comfort and style on a modern speedboat across the clear blue Adriatic Sea.
Start in Zadar Meet us in Marina Zadar at Jazine Harbour and step onto your speedboat. As we leave the port, enjoy great views of the old city walls from the 12th and 16th centuries. We cruise right past the famous Greeting to the Sun and Sea Organ. Listen to the magical sounds of the Sea Organ and learn how it works with the power of the waves.
Then, speed away from the city into the sparkling blue waters for your island-hopping journey!
First Stop: Ošljak Island This is the smallest inhabited island in Croatia – only about 0.39 km² with just around 30–35 people living there. You can walk around the whole island in about 20 minutes! Swim or snorkel in the crystal-clear sea (snorkeling gear provided). Relax on the beach or hear interesting stories about the island's long history and why it is now a protected nature area.
Next Stop: Preko Village on Ugljan Island Take a thrilling speedboat ride to Preko on Ugljan, a larger and beautiful island. See charming medieval buildings, small shops, and cozy cafes. Take a short walk (own expense for snacks or homemade ice cream) to a lovely turquoise bay near Galevac. Along the way, learn about local life in the past and today, and see some historic monuments.
Special Visit: Galevac Island From Preko, cross the short distance to tiny Galevac Island in a traditional wooden boat. Visit the peaceful Franciscan Monastery of St. Paul the Hermit (from the 15th century). Explore the island and hear fascinating stories about its history, the old library, and the monks who lived here.
Free Time in Preko Return to Preko for free time. Swim in the turquoise bay, relax on beautiful beaches, try local food and drinks (like colorful cocktails), or just enjoy the views and walk around.
Taste Local Flavors Next, speedboat to a nearby charming village. Enjoy a special tasting of organic products from a local fisherman's family. Try fresh seafood, high-quality olive oil, and regional wine. Learn how they prepare these traditional foods.
